Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning, also known as epidermal leveling, is a non-invasive exfoliation technique used for the removal of the outermost layers of dead skin cells on the face using a small blade.

The dead layer of skin sits on the skin below and deprives it of oxygen.
Dermaplaning improves fine lines and removes fine hair (peach fuzz), dirt, and oil buildup. This gives skin a more youthful look and allows it to naturally rejuvenate by delivering enriching oxygen to the living cells.

Unlike exfoliating peel procedures, dermaplaning uses no chemicals and therefore causes less irritation. The result is skin that is vitalized and readily receives nutrients from your skin care products. Patients often benefit from multiple treatments spaced three to four weeks apart.

Dermaplaning can be a great alternative to microdermabrasion or chemical peels and may be ideal for patients with extremely sensitive skin, unwanted fine facial hair, rosacea, and visible facial veins and those sensitive to facial waxing.
